We held our 4th New England Automated Vehicle Consortium workshop on March 28th.  This group is lead by Paul Schmitt, the MassRobotics Automated Vehicle Director.  The consortium was formed in September 2016 with its mission to:

Bring together academia, industry and policy makers to discuss and share the latest developments, work together to advance the local industry and to share perspectives and network within this rapidly changing area.

Interest in the Consortium has been overwhelming with membership including representatives at the city, state, and federals levels.  Discussion is regularly lively and engaging, and have covered a variety of topics including:

• Policies and Regulation
• Promoting Automated Vehicle Technology Testing and Development
• Data Sharing

There’s a lot of activity in the area of Automated vehicles – especially in Boson’s Seaport – Stay Tuned!
