And they are off! A group of Massachusetts based robotics companies, led by Tom Ryden, MassRobotics Executive Director, and Val Livada, Senior Advisor to InTeahouse, are on their way to China for a 10 day summit where stops will include Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Foshan, Shaoxing and Beijing. They will be meeting with potential partners and venture capitalists, showcasing their technologies and products, and exploring new markets. MassRobotics has been collaborating with InTeahouse to prepare the traveling companies for this trip to create opportunities to create positive relationships.
The traveling companies represent a wide range of robotic technologies and include: Artaic, Ascend Robotics, GreenSightAG, Insightfil, iRobot, Locus Robotics, Next Droid, R-STORM, Soft Robotics and Vecna Technologies.
A reception prior to the trip was held at the State House on October 13.
