MassRobotics has been working with the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center on ways to encourage the use of the robots in the clean energy industry and to ensure the new wave of robots that are getting deployed are energy-efficient. We are pleased to let you know that the latest InnovateMass funding round includes a funding allocation for robotics related applications. InnovateMass provides grants – up to $250K – on a competitive basis to clean energy companies seeking to overcome the commercialization valley of death/first customer barrier (TRL 5-7). The Clean Energy Center will be considering applications that either explicitly involve robots performing a clean energy related service or function (e.g. cleaning solar panels), or robotics companies that are innovating around their power supply, storage system, power management, efficiency or grid interface (charging). Details can be found at: http://www.masscec.com/request-proposals-innovatemass

Applications are due by November 6th, 2017.
