Elevating BVLOS Drone Missions: MATLAB and Simulink for Interdisciplinary Team Success
Autonomous systems like drones necessitate interdisciplinary teams with expertise in areas such as systems engineering, power electronics, wireless communication, and autonomous navigation. For Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) missions, these design teams must evaluate mission risks and tradeoffs, considering factors such as ground control connectivity, battery life limitations, mission completion time, and potential contingencies. Effective team collaboration and the ability to perform system-wide impact assessment across varying degrees of fidelity are crucial for testing and optimizing performance and reliability. In this webinar, we demonstrate how MATLAB and Simulink’s modular simulation capabilities can enhance confidence in system capabilities using a search-and-rescue wildfire mission as an example.
