MassRobotics, KAIST, and Startups Travel to California for RoboBusiness Week
The 2025 KAIST MassRobotics International Immersion Program took place in Santa Clara, California, bringing six innovative Korean robotics startups into the U.S. robotics ecosystem. Held alongside RoboBusiness, the program gave startups the opportunity to showcase their technology, meet industry leaders, and explore commercialization pathways in the U.S.
Over the course of the week, the delegation engaged in mentorship, RoboBusiness participation, networking, and company visits organized by MassRobotics, gaining first-hand exposure to the robotics community here in the United States. Additionally, the companies had numerous opportunities to connect with interested customers, stakeholders, and investors through their tradeshow participation in the conference.
Participating Korean Startups:
● DOGU
● Floatic
● NARMA

Each company brought unique technologies addressing automation, AI, and perception challenges across logistics, manufacturing, and mobility sectors.
The week featured valuable meetings with The MassRobotics leadership team as well as multiple technical and business mentors from MassRobotics Sponsors and friends.

KAIST startups additionally attended RoboBusiness on Wednesday and Thursday, each having their own table at a booth in the exhibit hall, where startups were able to meet with attendees and share their technology with potential customers. Thursday evening they enjoyed a celebratory dinner sharing the conference’s success.

To close out the program, the group visited Stanford University’s Robotics Lab and the Analog Devices Robotics Lab, gaining insights into academic and industrial advances in robotics research and innovation.

The KAIST–MassRobotics International Immersion Program proved to be a valuable experience for both the participating startups and the broader robotics ecosystem. By combining mentorship, industry engagement, and exposure to the U.S. market, the program offered Korean startups a unique opportunity to explore commercialization pathways and connect directly with investors, customers, and partners. This program not only strengthened international collaboration but also highlighted the power of cross-border innovation in advancing the global robotics community.
