SUMMARY:Robotaxis and the most contested real estate in our cities: the curb
DESCRIPTION:URF is pleased to host an interactive panel discussion to explore the challenges and opportunities inherent in managing the curb as robotaxis transition from pilot projects to everyday urban transportation in many cities. \nWhen a driverless vehicle stops to pick up and drop off passengers or to stage for its next fare\, it ceases to behave as a mere road vehicle and becomes a public-area mobile robot (PMR) interacting with first-responders\, public transportation vehicles\, pedestrians\, and cyclists.

SUMMARY:1st annual Physical AI and Robotics Summit (The Economist)
DESCRIPTION:As autonomous machines move from pilots to large-scale deployment\, robotics and physical AI are reshaping how goods are made\, moved and delivered. From factories and warehouses to transport networks and healthcare systems\, organisations are making important decisions about automation that will shape productivity\, competitiveness and jobs. \nThe Physical AI & Robotics Summit focuses on the industrial reality of autonomy. Designed for executives responsible for operations\, engineering\, infrastructure and long-term investment\, the event examines how robotics and autonomous systems are already being deployed at scale and how organisations are managing the risks. We will also examine scenarios for how regulation and labour markets are likely to respond over time. \nBringing together buyers\, policymakers\, investors and technology partners\, the summit offers a forum to benchmark real-world deployment\, assess economic impact and understand who benefits as autonomy spreads in the physical world and affects economies.
